Dave- Dave Hooper is a singer, songwriter, musician, and author, who resides in Santa Rosa, California. He has spent several decades performing professionally in the U.S. and Europe, where he lived in the early 1970s. Dave currently sings and plays guitar and harmonica in the Americana band, "Hooper and Sloss". "Hooper and Sloss" mix original songs with cover tunes for an eclectic blend of country, folk, blues, and rockabilly.
Phil- Sebastopol resident Phil Lawrence is a mandolin virtuoso, also playing guitar and ukulele. Phil began performing professionally in 1976 while living in Europe. He has recorded several albums of original instrumental music, and has worked with the bands “It’s A Beautiful Day” and “The Windshield Cowboys”. In addition to being a recording/ performing musician and a sought after session player, Phil hosts a radio show on KOWS FM, and teaches music. In 2022 Phil was voted “Mandolin Player of the Year” in Germany.
